Labiaplasty using the Wedge technique
This procedure removes part of the labia minora. It involves the removal of a wedge of tissue running from the clitoris to the labia minora, immediately behind the frenulum. This labial reduction procedure ensures that the labia retains its natural and uniform appearance.
During the labiaplasty procedure, special attention is also given to ensuring that no excess tissue is left around the clitoral hood.
Labial reduction with labial trim
This form of labiaplasty is recommended for extremely thin labia. Excess tissue is removed along the entire length of the labia minora. Incisions are made carefully so that the scars can never be seen on the exterior. This avoids the dreaded jagged effect that can be caused by other trim techniques.
